Consultant dermatologists are not employees of Smart Dermatology, and they maintain their independence regarding the days and times they choose to work with us as well as their patient lists, clinical treatments, and patient fees.
Specialist Dermatologist
Dr Anne Lewis is a specialist dermatologist. She graduated from Melbourne University Medical School with honours.
Dr Lewis completed her intern year and residency years in Sydney at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, then Sydney Children’s Hospital, before entering general practice in Paddington, Sydney. On the day her youngest child started school, she started as a Dermatology Registrar at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. She went on to complete the four-year dermatology training in Melbourne. It was during her training that she was trained in laser treatment of congenital birthmarks at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.
During her dermatology career she has developed a keen interest in skin cancer surgery and cosmetic dermatology while still enjoying the variety of Medical Dermatology.
Past Treasurer of the SA faculty of the Royal Australasian College of Dermatology (RACD), Dr Lewis has subsequently been an active member of the RACD national executive, initially as an examiner on the national Board of Censors, and subsequently as a Director of the Board, and as Chair of the Continuing Professional Development committee for the College.
Specialist Dermatologist
After completing her undergraduate degree in medicine and surgery at the University of Adelaide in 2009, Lil (as she likes to be called) immediately made the decision to pursue her medical specialty in dermatology.
Lil supplemented her four-year dermatology training program in Adelaide with study trips to India and Africa where she was able to broaden her skills and experience
As well as being published in peer reviewed journals such as the Medical Journal of Australia, Lil has presented at the Australasian Dermatopathology Society Annual Meeting. She has chaired dermatology meetings including at the Australasian College of Dermatology Annual Scientific Meeting and presented at various education events. She currently holds a consultant position at the Flinders Medical Centre and Modbury Public Hospital where she enjoys mentoring the next generation of dermatologists.
Outside of her practice, Lil loves the outdoors and leads an active life.
Lil specialises in the treatment of eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, and dermatological surgery.
Specialist Dermatologist
Dr. Alexander Coe is a consultant dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Originally from Mackay, Queensland, he completed his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland (UQ) in 2009.
Before embarking on specialist dermatology training, Dr. Coe was a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners, working in several regional and rural communities across Queensland for almost a decade. In 2019, he earned a Master of Medicine in Skin Cancer (UQ) and is currently a lecturer at University of NSW. Dr. Coe embarked on specialist dermatology training in 2020, completing his training at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst following placements at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, The Skin Hospital (Darlinghurst), and Canberra Hospital. Dr. Coe has actively contributed to improving registrar training through his work with the Australasian College of Dermatologists, and has presented at both national and international conferences.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Coe enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He is an avid mountain biker, golfer, and hiker.
Specialist Dermatologist
Dr Brittany Wong is passionate about skin. She has interests in skin barrier repair and
dermal health, enabling her to take a holistic approach to managing skin issues such as
acne, rosacea, pigmentation, and dermatitis. Dr Brittany is also interested in achieving
optimum skin health at all ages. An essential component of this is highlighting the right
skin care for your skin condition, prevention of skin cancers and environmental skin
damage, skin cancer detection, and management of sun damaged and ageing skin. She
prides her practice on education and open discussion thus ensuring her patients are active
participants in their care. She is a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and
a member of the Australasian Society of Cosmetic and Procedural Dermatologists, the
Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine, and the Australian Medical Association.
